As the author of this website, I find great joy in filling the contents of it with my achievements, photography, projects, stories, and life experiences. Thus, I will preserve this website and continue to update my site because it allows for me to further improve and test my creativity/collaboration skills. I would like to write more stories of my own and go more in depth with photography even after I leave this class. This class was very insightful and allowed me to practice my technological skills as well as learn basic principles of design and art. I love testing my creativity in new ways, and this class really challenged me to think outside the box. In conclusion, this site will continue to operate and will continue to serve as a representation of my life as I move through the future.

The pink of your cheeks
when the cold winter bites. The intricacy of your iris against the blank of the white. The blue of a mood that is saddened and dull. The golden jubilation of a cup half full. The rainbow of joy. The darkness of sorrow. The green eye of the monster who consumes your todays and tomorrows. The silver of wisdom; The green shoots that thrive. Embrace every color For they prove we're alive. -M.S. Moem (author) Reflection: I chose this poem by M.S. Moem to reflect on because I love the deeper meaning behind it. The comparison of color to life is very creative and beautifully written. Also, I enjoy the message it gives off: As a human being, we feel many emotions and sometimes we feel happy, other times we feel sad or angry. However, it is important to embrace every emotion and feeling because that is what makes us who we are and like Moem said- it proves that we're alive. I personally love poems that make me think differently and give me hope, and this is definitely one of them. As a Journalism student, I have learned many valuable things that I can apply to my life. One of the things I've learned is photography skills. I've always been interested in photography, but I never knew how to capture a unique photo. The photography unit helped spark my interest of taking photos even more, and I learned the different types of photography skills- fill the frame, leading lines, rule of thirds, excitement/emotion, and unique angles or viewpoints. By keeping these skills in mind, I have gotten better at photography and have been able to capture good quality photos. All in all, Journalism has taught me things about writing, photography, lighting, and more. I am excited to explore more topics in this class and look forward to the next semester.

I experienced many new changes, and I was definitely overwhelmed with how stressful schoolwork could be in high school. One of the biggest challenges I faced was juggling band practice after school and my school assignments. However, I am slowly adapating and learning how to manage my time more efficiently. Nevertheless, I am so excited to meet new people, go to football games, participate in spirit days, and make everlasting memories.
